The criteria for admission are simple: a desire to know God more deeply, a willingness to work hard with other people in community (expect around 50 hours a week of university level work including class time), a desire to discover how to ask the right questions in determining what is Truth, and the ability to write freshman-level college English. We’ll take it from there.
We are seeking spiritual and intellectual adventurers, whether you are between high school and college, or already have an advanced or professional degree; whether you intend to eventually be a tradesperson, homemaker, or be distinguished in your profession. Knowing how to think and what is true greatly enhances all of these life paths. Come learn with us!
We are discounting our non-refundable application fee from $50 to $25 for our class of 2019-2020 applicants. You may also apply for future years at this rate now if that is of interest to you; simply indicate so on your application.

TUITION AND RESIDENCE
Tuition is $8,500 USD for a full year (two 13-week terms). Due to the emphasis on community in our model, students are typically expected to live together in residences with separate housing for men and women. Each residence will have either a Resident Advisor or Houseparent Mentor(s) on site. Housing fees will be determined in the next months, will be reasonable for the area, and will be paid in addition to tuition. One of Blacksburg’s advantages is its comparative low cost of living, and we will do our best to negotiate good terms for our residents.
Applications of minors will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
As this is our first year, we are not quite sure what to expect as far as response, but we have already had substantial interest from many local and remote students and families. As community is a priority in our model, a small class size (10 – 25 students) is planned. We have a rolling admissions process, so if you are even considering joining us, we encourage you to apply now to start the conversation and secure your place. Additionally, our St. Monica scholarships of $2000 award early applicants. However, we will consider your application as long as there is still adequate space in our class.
